Were hiring a Senior Cost Business Partner to join our team and create transparency within our teams financial decisions. Working closely with Operations, IT and Change you’ll help to ensure good quality and sustainable cost decisions. The role is integral to our success and will help shape our company’s targets and strategy.
The Role
This is an exciting time of growth for us. You will report to the Head of Cost Business Partnering and be responsible for Business Partnering activities within your assigned areas, becoming a trusted advisor and supporting relevant ExCo members with analysis, initiatives and presentations that will drive decisions.
You Will
* Proactively identify risks and opportunities, providing actionable insights and recommendations
* Support cost analysis and forecasting, working with business owners to forecast and track costs and headcount. You’ll also support the junior cost analyst to own and manage the forecasting and reporting tool
* Create transparency on the drivers of our budget and forecast, working with management accountants and providing commentary on actual vs forecast
* Carry out analysis across several P&L lines, analysing costs to understand drivers and proactively working with functions to improve financial processes and governance
* Proactively manage risks and opportunities
* Actively take part in reporting and presentations for Executive Committee and Board

To be successful as our Senior Cost Business Partner you will hold an accounting qualification and have extensive experience within a financially controlled environment.
* You'll have advanced Excel experience with the ability to analyse and interpret data
* You're able to communicate information within PowerPoint presentations, telling the story of the data
* You have the ability to network and adapt your communication to all levels of the business, developing and maintaining effective working relationships
* You will have in-depth technical knowledge with professional accountancy experience, proficiency in systems and software and the ability to generate insights
* You can demonstrate an accuracy of work, promoting confidence in the FP&A team
It would be ideal if you have experience of Anaplan or working within financial services or privately backed companies.
