Trainee Health & Safety Adviser required for a new role in central Newcastle, this role has been created as the current Trainee has completed his qualifications and is taking the next step within the business. The training is funded and supported by the company. The role would suit a range of people from recent Graduates to people willing to learn and with a good, solid work ethic. It is with a construction company and based on site. You will be part of a team responsible for the reporting of HSEQ standards and promoting safety awareness on site. The RoleThe role will involve assisting in undertaking regular HSEQ inspections several sites and business premises owned by the company. You will assist in the development and maintenance of management systems including ISO 9001(Quality) ISO 14001 (Environmental) ISO 45001 (Health and Safety) and ISO 50001 (Energy Management).Support the Health and Safety Team in the development and implementation of H&S policies and procedures.Submit accurate documentation to the Group Health and Safety Manager/Director.The PersonMinimum of 5 GCSE’s A - C or equivalent including maths, ICT and English.Full valid UK driving licence desirable.Strong communication skills.Organised with attention to detail.Willing to learn and work towards NEBOSH qualifications.Remuneration£22,500 - £23,000 per annumThis is a permanent position and Corepeople Recruitment Limited will be acting as an employment agency for permanent recruitment on behalf of our client.By applying for this job you accept the T&Cs, Privacy Policy and Disclaimers which can be found on our website.
