We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a well-supported primary school in Willenhall, Walsall. This full-time position begins in March 2026 and offers the opportunity to secure a permanent contract for the right candidate.

The Role

Providing targeted one-to-one and small group support for pupils with special educational needs
*
Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging, differentiated lessons
*
Adapting learning materials and strategies to meet individual academic and behavioural needs
*
Supporting pupils in developing independence, confidence, and positive learning behaviours
*
Working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals to maintain consistent support
The Ideal Candidate

A graduate or soon-to-be graduate (any subject background considered)
*
Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN is desirable but not essential — full training will be provided
*
Patient, empathetic, and resilient, with a genuine passion for inclusive primary education
*
A strong communicator who enjoys working as part of a team and is committed to professional development

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is previous experience working in a school setting.
