Neu-Servo Repairs are a market leader in the automation repair sector, providing 24/7 service support to some of the world’s leading manufacturers across Automotive, Aerospace, Food, Medical, and Oil & Gas industries.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Business Development Executive to drive new business and expand our customer base across the UK.
The Role
* Field‑based, standalone sales role focused on generating new business opportunities across the UK.
* Primary sales representative, working closely with the Managing Director and supported by an experienced technical team.
* Responsible for proactively identifying, generating, and converting own sales leads, building your pipeline from the ground up, and developing new client relationships; this is not an account management role.
* High level of autonomy, ideal for someone who enjoys hunting for new business, opening doors, and turning opportunities into long‑term accounts.
* Flexible hybrid working; option to spend 1–2 days per week based in the office for planning, collaboration, and internal meetings.
Key Responsibilities
* Proactively generate own leads through outreach, networking, and business development activity.
* Identify, target, and win new business across multiple industry sectors.
* Arrange and attend site visits to present Neu‑Servo’s services.
* Confidently engage with decision‑makers including engineers, operations managers, and procurement teams.
* Build and manage own pipeline from initial contact through to close.
* Develop new client relationships and expand opportunities across multiple sites.
* Achieve and exceed sales targets.
* Maintain accurate sales reporting for review with Managing Director.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in external sales or business development (essential).
* A strong track record of winning new business and generating own leads (essential).
* Confident, self‑motivated, and target‑driven.
* Comfortable operating in a proactive, outbound sales environment.
* Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
* Highly organised with good IT/computer skills.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Industry experience not essential – full training provided – interest in technical or industrial services would be beneficial.
