We are looking for someone to provide a professional and focused supplies service to the clinical and non-clinal teams in the hospital. Working under the supervision of the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for all duties involved in receipt, storage and management of supplies and goods.
This is an exciting role with plenty of variety daily and opportunities to develop new skills; working with senior management and teams across the centres to ensure safety at all times for our staff and patients and support the safe delivery of healthcare.
What you'll be doing
Taking responsibility for sign for deliveries, check against paperwork, distribute goods ensuring good manual handling techniques are adhered to at all times due to the size and weight of the deliveries. Just as important will be adhering to cleanliness and hygiene regulations regarding the hospital environment.
You will be required to ensure that all deliveries are verified, match purchase orders and notes back orders or errors and advised Operations Manager of any discrepancies.
What we'll look for in you
The post will require you to be flexible and reliable with an eye for detail. You will have the ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams across all sites. Health and safety awareness and training to IOSH level is essential. The role involves an element of moving and handling of stock on a regular basis. MS Office skills are required.
