Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Shifts - Cullybackey - Salary £51000 Your New Company A household name throughout NI and beyond! Your New Role As a maintenance engineer, you will play a core role within our multi-skilled Engineering Team to optimise the performance of automated production filling and packing machinery and ancillary services. Reporting to the site Engineering Manager, within this role your core duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Developing and implementing continuous process improvement projects * Routine preventative maintenance * Ensuring that equipment is properly set and maintained * Fault diagnosis and running adjustments/repairs as necessary * Overhauling mechanical plant and machinery * General building fabric repairs * Maintaining and monitoring consumption of M&E utilities * Providing support for the installation and commissioning of new plant and equipment. This role is based on a rotating (12 hour) shift pattern that repeats 5 weekly. Weeks 1 - 3 of the pattern are on days, with a 05:30 start and weeks 4 - 5 are on nights, with a 17:30 start. What You'll Need To Succeed In order to be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate the following skills, experience and qualifications: This opportunity calls for a multi-skilled maintenance engineer with first-rate communication skills who will be a hands-on, results-oriented individual and who can demonstrate their skills, energy and ability to multitask effectively. Candidates should therefore possess significant, recent and relevant experience to the role, ideally at least 3 years post apprenticeship. Candidates should also have undertaken an engineering apprenticeship/training programme. It is desirable but not essential that candidates possess an electrically biased qualification and be mechanically proficient.
