A well-established and growing food company based in the Northallerton Area is looking for an experienced Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join the business.
Thesuccessful Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for:
* Carry out reactive and proactive maintenance of site machinery, equipment and systems to minimise downtime, optimise performance and maximise safety
* Daily completion of the Engineering work log
* Ensure work orders are completed to a high standard within the required time scale
* Carry out PPM work in accordance to the monthly schedule
* Maintain high standards of Good Manufacturing Practice
* Work within all Technical, Health and Safety and Hygiene procedures at all times
* Effectively and efficiently source and use resources, including spare parts, consumables and equipment

The salary is advertised up to £47k DOE plus any potential additional paid overtime. As Maintenance Engineer you will be working 4 on/off days and nights shift pattern.
We would love to see your CV if you are a Maintenance Engineer with the following:
* Qualified to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent, ONC mechanical/electrical, BTEC level 3 in mechanical & electrical/electronic engineering).
* A proven track record in an engineering and fault-finding role gained from a FMCG environment (ideally the food industry).
* A good understanding of HACCP principles and ideally IEE qualification (17thor 18thedition wiring regulations).
* Has excellent analytical, planning & organising skills
* Awareness and understanding of key legislative and safety requirements within engineering field
Ability to work well under pressure and assertive when making decisions to keep things moving smoothly.
