We are seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Manager to lead our residential home in line with the Childrens Homes (England) Regulations 2015, the Quality Standards, and our companys vision and values. Job Role Overview To lead the home and ensure it meets the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance. The Registered Manager is legally responsible for the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring it operates in line with the Childrens Homes (England) Regulations 2015, Quality Standards, and the vision and values of Guiding Angels Care Ltd. Key Areas of Responsibility Include: Leading and managing a skilled staff team to deliver high-quality, therapeutic care. Ensuring full compliance with Ofsted regulations, safeguarding frameworks, and legislative requirements. Embedding a child-centred approach that prioritises safety, wellbeing, and positive outcomes. Developing and implementing care plans in partnership with professionals, families, and external agencies. Managing budgets, resources, and staff rotas effectively. Driving continuous improvement to ensure the home achieves and maintains Good or Outstanding Ofsted ratings. Relevant Experience & Qualifications NVQ/QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards). At least 2 years in a supervisory or management role within residential childcare -Deputy Manager willing to step up Experience leading inspections and preparing for Ofsted visits Managing safeguarding concerns, risk assessments, and complex care needs Working with external agencies including LADO, IROs, and commissioners Excellent communication, decision-making, and record-keeping skills In-depth knowledge of Childrens Homes If you feel you match the role, please apply by clicking below - We look forward to reviewing your application.
