Our Aviation team is growing in 2026, and we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Risk Manager to join our Mobility division. As Senior Risk Manager you will represent Mace whilst interfacing with our key clients. You will be responsible for leading and embedding effective risk management across the construction function. The role ensures that risks to cost, schedule, safety, quality, scope, and reputation are proactively identified, assessed, managed, and reported in line with organisational governance and industry best practice.
You’ll be responsible for:
1. Managing and embed consistent risk management across projects and programmes.
2. Identifying, assessing, managing, and reporting risks across cost, schedule, safety, quality, scope, and reputation.
3. Maintaining and overseeing project‑level risk registers and ensure QCRA/QSRA compliance.
4. Facilitating risk workshops, capturing key risks, impacts, likelihoods, and mitigation strategies.
5. Conducting and interpreting statistical cost and schedule risk analysis to support decision‑making and business cases.
6. Driving continuous improvement, leading lessons‑learned reviews and sharing insights across teams.
7. Supporting alignment with corporate and construction risk frameworks, working closely with PMO and Project Controls.
8. Managing inter‑project risks and opportunities.
9. Providing training, coaching, and clear communication on risk processes to project teams and stakeholders.
You’ll need to have:
10. Skilled in statistical cost and schedule risk modelling.
11. Degree‑level qualification or recognised Risk Management certification.
12. Professional membership (e.g., APMP, Prince2 Practitioner) desirable.
13. Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and communication skills.
14. Able to present complex data clearly to senior and non‑technical audiences.
15. Experience working in live operational environments beneficial.
16. Strong leadership, influencing ability, and resilience in ambiguous environments.
