Business Development/Account Manager
Location: Portsmouth
Salary: £27,500 Basic Salary
Plus commission - Realistic OTE upward of £40k-£50K
Start date: ASAP
Hours of work: Core working hours, Monday to Friday
Dynamite Recruitment is working in partnership with a well-established business based in Portsmouth. Due to growth plans for 2021, our client is now looking to recruit a Business Development/Account Manager.
As a Business Development/Account Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining new and existing tender opportunities, supporting the Senior team with contacting, quoting, and closing these opportunities.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Being the first point of contact for customers via email and telephone.
2. Generating repeat business by contacting previous customers to identify and address changes.
3. Managing key client accounts and driving sales growth.
4. Supporting customers with billing and account queries.
5. Managing and updating customer accounts regularly.
6. Owning sales targets and identifying new sales opportunities.
7. Using the CRM to log activities, chase, and follow up on tender opportunities.
8. Selling to existing customers to increase revenue.
9. Liaising with Quality Assurance to ensure sales verification compliance.
10. Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
11. Developing and nurturing strong relationships with existing clients.

4. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
5. Strong sales and account management skills.
6. Ownership of issues and efficient problem-solving.
7. Self-motivated with a proven track record of achieving targets.
8. Proficient in email, phone, and LinkedIn communication.
