Role Overview
The post holder will be responsible for developing standardised practice across nursing teams, specialised spinal cord injury (SCI) clinical skills within acute and community settings across the London Spinal Cord Injury Network (LSCIN).
They will promote professional development of the nursing team, ensuring high quality SCI nursing care across London and consistency of care for SCI patients.
In collaboration with the Network’s Education Lead, the post holder will lead the design and development of the nursing SCI clinical skills competency and educational programme through continuous professional development across sites, ensuring patient‑focused excellence in spinal care.
The post holder will promote the concept of shared learning for the combined improvement of nursing skills and knowledge when caring for SCI patients.
Flexibility and Working Conditions
The role is open to a flexible approach, accepting part‑time or full‑time applications, and offers a fixed‑term or secondment of 12‑18 months depending on candidate availability. The position can be home or remote based, with the expectation of regular travel to London hospital sites. Working days are Monday‑Thursday.
