The postholder will lead and manage the business partnering team for a defined set of Council services providing full financial support. Line management responsibilities of 3-6 FTE posts. Main Responsibilities Budget monitoring and forecasting Technical finance advice on specialist areas (e.g. Schools, Capital, Grants, HRA). Provision of accurate and timely reports on relevant financial issues and performance. Providing data analysis and options appraisal to enable financially sound and informed decision making. Budget setting and financial planning. Year-end processes including providing specified notes to the accounts and audit evidence. Staying informed of financial regulations and legalities relevant to the service area and Public Sector Finance.
