Are you a compassionate, patient and resilient individual looking to make a meaningful difference in children’s lives? We are currently recruiting dedicated Learning Support Assistants to work within a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils who require additional guidance to access education and reach their full potential. The Role As a Learning Support Assistant, you will: Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a variety of additional needs Assist teachers in delivering tailored learning activities Support students with communication, social and emotional development Help manage behaviour positively and consistently Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment Pupils may have needs including: Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) ADHD Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs Moderate to severe learning difficulties Speech, language and communication needs We Are Looking For Experience working in SEN settings (school, care, youth work or similar) A calm, patient and empathetic approach Strong communication and teamwork skills The ability to build positive, trusting relationships with young people Resilience and adaptability in a dynamic environment Whether you are an experienced LSA or looking to build on your SEN experience, this role offers the chance to have a real impact every day. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position.
