Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Specialty Medicine Division of Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust for an experienced Directorate Support Manager for Cardiology, Respiratory, and Renal services. The role aims to enhance the management structure within the division. The post holder will provide operational and business management support, working closely with the Directorate Manager, Clinical Director, and Matrons.
This post is based at Worcestershire Royal Hospital, with travel across the county essential.
Main duties of the job
You will provide operational management alongside the Directorate Manager, ensuring that the Directorate and its services meet quality, activity, and financial targets. You will also assist in planning, objective-setting, and change management within the Directorate and the Division.
Applicants should have experience in managing staff, projects, complaints, performance, and budgets, with a proven record of proactive management to achieve KPIs. Excellent communication skills, team motivation, and the ability to work under tight deadlines are essential.
