Electrical Contracts Manager – Permanent Position
Location: Northampton (Office-Based with Site Visits Across the Midlands & South)
Salary: £65,000 + Company Vehicle + Pension + Holidays
Sector: Commercial, Industrial & Education Projects (£2M+ values)
We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Contracts Manager to join a well-established and growing M&E contractor based in Northampton. The company specialises in delivering high-quality electrical and mechanical installations across the commercial, industrial, and education sectors, typically on projects valued at £2 million and above.

What You'll Be Doing:

Managing multiple electrical contracts from pre-construction through to handover
*
Coordinating with clients, consultants, suppliers, and internal teams
*
Overseeing site teams and subcontractors to ensure quality and programme compliance
*
Managing budgets, variations, and project profitability
*
Ensuring all works are completed to health & safety, quality, and regulatory standards
*
Attending progress meetings and reporting to senior management
Requirements:
*
Proven experience in a similar role managing electrical packages on commercial, industrial, or education projects
*
Strong technical knowledge and understanding of electrical systems
*
Ability to manage multiple large-scale contracts (£2M+)
*
Excellent communication and leadership skills
*
Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition)
*
SMSTS and ECS/CSCS Card preferred
*
Full UK driving licence
