Day to Day Duties
Working as a Transport Administrator for our client your duties will be:
* Coordinating and managing transport operations
* Scheduling deliveries and collections
* Ensuring compliance
* Communicating with drivers
* Monitoring and Tracking
As a Transport Administrator, the following are essential:
* Proficient in Microsoft package
* At least three years’ experience working in a transport environment and with call handling
* Good knowledge of vehicle compliance – servicing / defects
* Good knowledge of driver compliance – Tachomaster / infringements / driver holidays
* Able to communicate / crews / warehouse / customer service
* Excellent problem solving skills
* Have good geographical knowledge of the UK
* Able to support the Transport Manager in the day to day running of the transport department
* Flexible with the working pattern

* Industry related training and ongoing support
