The Coggeshall Eye Centre is seeking a dedicated and patient-focused optometrist to join our friendly and growing team. This is a part-time position for one day per week, based primarily at our Coggeshall branch, with the opportunity to cover one additional day per month in Colchester if desired. Hours for this would be 9.30am - 5pm and we are flexible regarding the day worked.
You will be working alongside an experienced resident Dispensing Optician in a well-equipped, modern practice delivering a mix of NHS and private eye care.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Conduct comprehensive eye examinations including contact lens work and MECS
* Deliver excellent patient communication and care
* Work collaboratively with the Dispensing Optician and wider team
* Maintain accurate clinical records and compliance with regulations
About the Candidate
To be considered for this position, all applicants should be:
* GOC-registered optometrist
* A strong communicator, with good interpersonal skills
* Professional, reliable, and patient-focused
* Detail-oriented, with the ability to maintain accurate patient records
* Able to work independently within a small team
