You will be immersed in exciting initiatives that unite people and the natural world, giving you a deep sense of purpose and the chance to build real project management skills.

From day one, you’ll thrive in a values-driven team that listens, supports and champions you, nurturing your growth, amplifying your ideas, and making your wellbeing a true priority. On top of this, a part-time commitment of just 22 hours per week means that you’ll be free to undertake your other responsibilities, supporting a positive work/life balance.

The Role

As an Aquadrome Project Support Officer, you’ll help co-ordinate and shape a National Lottery Heritage Fund project at the Rickmansworth Aquadrome focused on Water, Wildlife and Wellbeing.

The Aquadrome is a unique, biodiverse nature reserve which has been part of the Rickmansworth landscape for decades. Now, in partnership with Hertfordshire County Council, we are restoring, improving and safeguarding the site to protect its environmental heritage and ensure it can be enjoyed by all residents of the Three Rivers District.

Specifically, you’ll provide essential administrative and organisational support behind the scenes, from managing budgets and co-ordinating meetings to compiling key reports that help keep the project on track and on purpose.

You’ll also help bring the project’s story to life by crafting content for websites and social media, contributing to a powerful communications strategy that inspires, informs and engages the local community.

About You

To be considered as an Aquadrome Project Support Officer, you will need:

- Experience using Microsoft Excel to manage and monitor budgets
- A proven track record of high performance and delivering quality outcomes
- The ability to develop and maintain clear and accurate documentation
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- A flexible approach with the ability to work some evenings and weekends

An Enhanced DBS check will be carried out for this post.

The closing date for this role is Wednesday 13 August 2025.
