Depot Manager – North Wales Location: Conwy Hours: 45 hours per week Salary: £50,832.36 per year (depending on experience) Are you an experienced leader with a passion for people, operations, and excellent customer service? We’re looking for a Depot Manager to take charge of our North Wales site and lead the team to continued success. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a key leadership role where you’ll oversee day-to-day depot operations, manage a dedicated team, and ensure everything runs smoothly all while driving growth, efficiency, and first-class service for our customers. What you’ll be doing: Leading and managing all depot operations and staff, ensuring everything is safe, compliant, and running efficiently. Taking responsibility for health & safety, food safety, drivers’ hours, vehicle maintenance, and other legal requirements. Delivering excellent customer service and building strong relationships with clients. Managing budgets, KPIs, and costs to ensure controlled and profitable growth. Supporting commercial activity, including developing new products, promotions, and negotiating contracts. Overseeing stock control, cash handling, and payment processes. Using LEAN principles to improve processes, increase efficiency, and reduce waste. Setting goals for your team, recognising good performance, and supporting their growth and development. Resolving escalated customer issues quickly and professionally. Working closely with the wider business to help shape future plans and deliver on strategy. What we’re looking for: Proven experience managing operations in a logistics, depot, distribution or similar environment. Strong leadership skills — able to motivate, engage, and get the best out of your team. A customer-focused approach and a passion for delivering excellent service. Good understanding of health & safety and relevant legislation. Experience managing budgets and achieving performance targets. Organised, detail-focused and confident handling multiple priorities. Hands-on approach with a positive attitude and flexibility to adapt when needed. It’s a bonus if you also have: A driving licence up to Class C. A management qualification.
