We’re hiring for an IT Systems Assistant (IT Support) to join a growing engineering business based in Droylsden. This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their IT or systems career who’s keen to learn, develop, and take ownership of real business-critical systems, with hands-on exposure to ERP platforms, data, and cross-functional projects. What’s on offer? * Up to £25,000 p/a (d.o.e) * Mon – Thurs | 8:30am – 5pm * 36-hour week with early Friday finish * 25 days holiday ( bank holidays), option to buy more * Performance-related bonus company bonus * Clear progression route with a supportive, hands-on team * Ongoing training across systems, data & integrations * Cycle to work scheme * Regular social and charity events What will you be doing as an IT Systems Assistant? * Providing 1st line IT support across ERP and internal systems * Troubleshooting issues and resolving helpdesk queries * Supporting data processing, extraction, and system updates * Assisting with training, documentation, and user guides * Working across departments (sales, finance, warehouse, production) * Supporting system improvements and ERP implementation projects * Maintaining user access, system integrity, and data accuracy * Supporting users across multiple global locations What will you need? * An IT-related qualification (degree or similar) * A genuine interest in IT support, systems, or data (through education, projects, or experience) * Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel) Interested?
