Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and ready to make an impact? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where accuracy matters? Can you juggle payroll, purchase orders, and admin tasks with ease? Here at GXO, we’re looking for a highly detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our BAE Naval contract based in Motherwell. You’ll be the backbone of our operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. From payroll processing to purchase order management, general office administration, and facilities coordination, your work will keep our site efficient and compliant.

This is a full-time, permanent position. You’ll work Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00.

Pay, benefits and more

* Salaried up to £29,000 per annum and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays).

What you’ll do on a typical day

* Payroll Administration: maintain accurate employee records, assist with payroll data entry, and resolve queries.
* Purchase Order Management: create and track POs, monitor deliveries, and maintain supplier records.
* General Administration: handle calls, emails, reports, and support other departments.
* Facilities Coordination: manage office maintenance, supplies, and health & safety compliance.

What you need to succeed at GXO

* Proven experience in admin or operational support roles.
* Knowledge of payroll and purchase order systems.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
* Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.

Security Requirement
Due to the nature of our business, you must be able to obtain SC Level Security Clearance.
