About the Role… This is a unique opportunity for an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead the opening and ongoing development of a brand-new children's residential home in Kegworth. The home will support up to three children with emotional and behavioural needs, with the potential for you to oversee a second nearby site in the future. You'll play a central role in shaping the culture, systems, and team from the ground up, working closely with an experienced Responsible Individual and with the full support of two directors who are deeply committed to delivering exceptional care." This role goes beyond day-to-day management. You'll be instrumental in ensuring the home meets Ofsted standards from the start, embedding a therapeutic, child-centred approach, and creating an environment where both young people and staff feel valued and supported. You'll work Monday to Friday, with some flexibility. You will also take part in a shared on-call rota alongside your Deputy Managers. Requirements… 2 Years UK based Children's Registered Manager Experience Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (Children's Residential) Strong track record with Ofsted - must have experience in a service rated "Good" or above Ability to lead, develop and inspire a team. Full Understanding of safeguarding legislation, children's home regulations, and the Children's Act 1989. Resilient, passionate, and child-centred approach. Full UK driving licence and willingness to participate in the on-call rota. You Will Be A motivated and compassionate leader who thrives in a hands-on role and genuinely wants to make a difference in children's lives. Experienced in managing or opening children's homes, with a strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and what it takes to achieve a "Good" or "Outstanding" rating. A confident communicator, able to inspire your team, work collaboratively with the Responsible Individual, and build strong, trusting relationships with professionals, families, and stakeholders.
