We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Tutor to work on a supply basis supporting primary school aged learners across Wrexham. This rewarding opportunity is ideal for an adaptable educator who is passionate about providing personalised learning support to children outside of a traditional classroom environment. Working through our established supply agency, you will have the flexibility to manage your schedule while making a meaningful difference to pupils who require additional educational support. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, patience, adaptability, and a commitment to helping learners achieve their full potential through engaging and tailored tuition sessions tailored to primary education.
Job Specification
Tutors work on a 1-2-1 basis with students usually within the students’ home, covering a variety of subjects notably core subjects including mathematics, English and science.
Tutor sessions will be bespoke for each student depending on age and levels, and will normally last between 1 and 2 hours.
Tutors can cover all levels from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 4 however tutors will need to have experience of teaching core subjects such as English, science, and mathematics at the level they will be tutoring.
