Start date: 5th January Contract: Long‑term, full academic year Role: 1:1 support for a Y3 pupil with complex needs
A primary school in BD4 is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Special Needs Teaching Assistant to support a Year 3 child on a 1‑1 basis from 5th January through to the end of the academic year.
About the role
Providing consistent 1‑1 support for a pupil with complex needs
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored strategies
Supporting learning, communication, emotional regulation, and daily routines
Creating a safe, nurturing, and structured environment
Using patience, empathy, and initiative to help the child access learning
