This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal leadership role in a growing and ambitious international setting, particularly as the school continues to expand its secondary and Sixth Form provision.The Head of Senior School will provide strategic and operational leadership across Years 7–13, ensuring the highest standards of academic excellence, pastoral care, and student wellbeing.

For more information and to register, please click here:https://jobs.inspirededu.com/job-invite/7236/KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Provide strategic leadership and a clear vision for the academic and pastoral development of the Senior School (Years 7–13).- Lead, manage, and develop middle leaders to ensure excellence in teaching, learning, and student outcomes.- Oversee curriculum planning and implementation across secondary and post-16 pathways, ensuring alignment with whole-school priorities and international best practice.- Drive high standards of academic performance through effective monitoring, evaluation, and school improvement planning.- Promote a culture of safeguarding, wellbeing, inclusion, and international-mindedness.- Lead on student behaviour, pastoral systems, and character education, ensuring a positive and respectful school culture.- Support the continued growth and development of the Sixth Form, including academic guidance and university preparation.- Contribute to whole-school strategic planning as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.- Build strong relationships with parents, students, and the wider school community.- Contribute to the co-curricular life of the school and promote a broad, balanced educational experienceTHE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE- A recognised teaching qualification and substantial leadership experience within a secondary or senior school setting.- Proven experience in leading academic and pastoral teams and driving school improvement.- Strong understanding of international secondary curricula and post-16 pathways.- A clear educational vision aligned with high academic standards and holistic student development.- Outstanding leadership, communication, and organisational skills.- Experience in strategic planning, staff development, and performance management.- A collaborative and reflective leadership style with a commitment to continuous professional growth.- Experience in an international school environment (highly desirable).SAFEGUARDING STATEMENTInspired Education Group is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff, volunteers and other third parties to share this commitment.
