Finance Officer – Full-time, 36 hours per week, 52 weeks per year from May 2026

Duties as Finance Officer:
* Manage day‑to‑day financial administration and processing
* Maintain accurate financial records, including invoices, payments, and reconciliations
* Support budget monitoring and financial reporting
* Assist with payroll‑related administration where required
* Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and audit requirements
* Work closely with senior leaders and administrative staff to support financial planning
* Handle confidential financial information with discretion and professionalism
* Support the smooth running of the school’s financial systems
Ideal Finance Officer:
* Previous experience in a finance or administrative finance role
* Strong numeracy, accuracy, and attention to detail
* Confidence using financial systems and Microsoft Office applications
* Good organisational and time‑management skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
* Professional, reliable, and confidential approach to work
* Understanding of safeguarding and working within a school environment
