Job Description:
Are you a strategic logistics leader ready to elevate your career? We are seeking a Head of Supply Chain to oversee our local supply chain operations in the UK and Ireland. This leadership role involves shaping the future of logistics within a regulated healthcare environment, ensuring seamless operations from warehouse management to clinic replenishment, and driving innovation and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead all local logistics operations including warehousing, transportation, planning, and clinic replenishment.
2. Drive continuous improvement and efficiency across logistics activities.
3. Manage third-party logistics (3PL) relationships and oversee S4H system implementation.
4. Deliver local supply chain projects to enhance capabilities and reduce costs.
5. Monitor inventory levels and manage supply chain KPIs.
6. Manage logistics budgeting with a focus on cost transparency.
7. Lead S&OP processes and support demand and budget planning.
8. Ensure compliance with GDP, ADR, and other standards.
9. Promote team collaboration, safety, and represent the company with logistics authorities.
10. Coordinate with global supply chain and business functions.
Qualifications and Experience:
* At least 5 years of leadership experience in logistics, preferably within medical device or pharmaceutical sectors.
* Experience managing 3PL providers and system implementations like S4H.
* Financial fluency in logistics budgeting and cost management.
* Knowledge of compliance standards such as GDP and ADR.
Work Environment:
Full-time, hybrid role (37.5 hours/week), Monday to Friday, with initial onsite work up to 5 days, then 2-3 days weekly at our head office in Huthwaite.
