Job Description
Spinnaker are working with a well-known international transport and ferry operator, seeking a Customer Operations Supervisor to join their Port Operations team in Larne.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring the safe, efficient and customer-focused operation of port activities, overseeing both freight and passenger operations during shift.
You will be responsible for coordinating operational teams, maintaining high safety standards, and ensuring vessels operate efficiently while delivering an excellent customer experience. This is a hands-on operational leadership role within a busy port environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the safe and efficient delivery of all port operations during shift
* Coordinate freight and tourist vessel loading and unloading
* Ensure operations meet Health, Safety and Environmental requirements
* Monitor operational performance and drive continuous improvement
* Manage operational disruptions including weather, vessel delays and technical issues
* Ensure high standards of customer service across all port operations
* Maintain accurate records of operational movements and incidents
* Manage and support operational staff, including performance management and training
* Ensure compliance with regulatory, legislative and security requirements
* Work closely with vessel crews, security providers and customer service teams
Requirements
* Experience in port, ferry or maritime operations
* Experience managing shift-based operational teams
* Knowledge of incident management and operational reporting
* Available for shift work (6AM – 6PM) 4 days on, 4 days off.
