Job Opportunity: Creative Artworker / Surface Designer
Our client has an exciting opportunity to join their design team. They have ambitious growth plans for the year ahead and are seeking a motivated and passionate Creative Artworker to contribute to their success. As a Surface Designer/Illustrator, you will play an integral role in the company, assisting in the daily operations of the design department and producing product packaging for a wide variety of products.
Responsibilities:
1. Create surface pattern concepts for various items.
2. Develop high-quality packaging design concepts and branding ideas.
3. Liaise with suppliers to ensure artwork accuracy.
4. Communicate with the buying team to agree on design concepts.
5. Conduct lifestyle photography for various products.
6. Demonstrate advanced drawing and typography skills, producing original artwork and drawings.
7. Be fully competent in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
8. Exhibit excellent layout skills.
9. Possess extensive print knowledge.
10. Display advanced photography skills.
11. Be highly creative, enthusiastic, and innovative.
12. Manage workload effectively in a fast-paced environment.
13. Work independently and as part of a team with confidence.
14. Maintain a high attention to detail.
15. Have experience designing products for retail.
16. Produce print-ready artworks.
17. Photography skills are desirable but not essential.
