Key Responsibilities As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant
: A Special Needs Teaching Assistant provides both classroom and one:on:one support to help students stay focused and engaged.
: As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant you will adapt learning materials and activities to meet the unique needs of students, including those with SEN such as autism or ADHD.
: A Special Needs Teaching Assistant collaborates with the class teacher to tailor learning strategies.
: As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant you will offer emotional support, boosting confidence and encouraging self:esteem.
: Special Needs Teaching Assistants track and monitor progress, working closely with the schools SENCO to develop and review individualised support plans.
What Were Looking For in a Special Needs Teaching Assistant:
: Experience working with children (whether as a tutor, nanny, scout leader, or in a similar role).
: A compassionate, patient, and understanding approach to childrens needs.
: Strong communication and teamwork skills.
