The role is based in the Commercial and Framework Management (CAFM) team, part of Portfolio Management, Assurance & Commercial. You will support the commercial governance of our contracts with key consultancies and contractors, help set up and manage pathfinder programmes, and embed best practice in long‑term partnership arrangements. You will work across the country supporting the Integrated Delivery Management teams, championing commercial assurance and governance to achieve the best value for money.
Responsibilities
* Provide commercial governance and assurance across a portfolio of contracts.
* Support the design and implementation of pathfinder programmes that embed best practice.
* Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders and become an expert on contractual and commercial interpretation.
* Prepare minutes and draft reports; maintain strong documentation and data management.
* Participate in incident response duties as required.
Qualifications
* Essential: A‑Level or equivalent Level 3 qualification; strong communication and influencing skills; stakeholder management experience; commercial acumen and data/document control skills; organisational and administrative abilities.
* Desirable: Degree or equivalent professional qualification, status with a recognised body (e.g. ICE, CIPS, APM, RICS, CIWEM), formal training in contract management (e.g. NEC).
