PURPOSE To provide IT support to the relevant users in compliance with data protection, data security and Group policies and procedures.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides technical support to users via email, phone and Help-Desk portal
Manages the workstations and the necessary hardware peripherals
Monitors hardware functionality and takes action where necessary
Manages software installation and set up on computers according to the specifications given
Trains end users on how to use new software and IT equipment
Organises and schedules updates and maintenance with users
Maintains repair and correction records
Identifies and suggests possible improvements to procedures
Acts in compliance with Data Protection in line with current legislation and corporate policies
Promotes a corporate culture based on safety
Applies Corporate Principles and Values
