Your new roleOur Glasgow-based client is an institution which is recognised worldwide for its commitment to delivering excellence. Reporting to the Lead Enterprise Architect, the Solution Architect supports key stakeholders by shaping and delivering systems and solutions aligned to their needs and objectives, in this case focussing on the User Experience including CRM. Working directly with stakeholders across the university, as well as colleagues in Information Services, Transformation, Procurement, and PIA, the postholder will be accountable for delivering viable, pragmatic, and effective architectures and design blueprints which ensure the success of key transformational technology initiatives, and the realisation of the organisations' strategic objectives. The key responsibilities:
1. Own and drive adoption of key technology-based solutions in support of User Experience initiatives.
2. Maintain the organisation's Technology Architecture and advise on the use of architecture within the key stakeholder groups.
3. Be an engaged and enthusiastic part of the diverse Technology Strategy team within the organisation. Collaborate openly on innovative solutions and engaging communications.
4. Proactively act as an advocate for the services of the Technology Strategy directorate and Information Services across the organisation, ensuring success by working with senior colleagues to gain support, sponsorship and commitment to their work....
