About The Role
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every person who works here understands that our residents are people with their own stories, just like them. Joining us offers a wonderful opportunity to give back to those individuals.
Your responsibilities include planning and implementing care that provides residents with security, dignity, and independence. You will get to know residents and their families, helping ensure personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will maintain high standards of care and influence your team positively. Your tasks may involve assisting with mobility, end-of-life care, or communication with families, always with kindness.
You'll assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in providing physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, as well as administering medication. Maintaining accurate records and building strong team relationships are key responsibilities.
Ideally, you will have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care and be willing to work towards a Level 3 qualification or equivalent. Experience in person-centered care planning and caring for people with dementia is preferred. Your positive energy, ability to manage time effectively, and considerate communication are essential qualities.
