Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for a Social Worker to join a busy Transitions Team based in Manchester.
The transitions planning team supports young people prepare for adulthood, working closely with those people who are important to them, along with statutory services covering health, education, children’s social care and the voluntary sector.

Your main responsibilities as a Social Worker:
4. You will be expected to work within organisational, policy and legislative requirements which include the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act and the Mental Health Act.
5. Good working knowledge of safeguarding, risk assessment and enablement is essential.
6. A person-centred approach to transition planning is necessary to help young people and their families prepare for the journey into adulthood, so an ability to work closely with families and young people and to promote their views as well as their wellbeing in all interventions.
What we are looking for in a Social Worker:
7. Social Work England registration
8. Eligible to work in the UK
9. Hold a full UK licence
10. Post-qualified experience
11. Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
