The Role
1. To support day to day operational management and organisation of the Transforming Care Digitally Clinical Systems Team
2. To deputise for and support the Head of Clinical Systems to ensure that Clinical Systems' strategic direction is embedded throughout the organisation and the program, ensuring that relevant policies, procedures and guidelines are developed and implemented, taking into account national policies and Trust practices.
3. To manage and develop configuration and business change processes
4. To work with all Trust staff, stakeholders and external third parties NHSE, National/Local Service Providers and external suppliers, to ensure robust system design, build and testing of implementations to meet local and national requirements.
5. To manage contentious issues in a controlled and integrated way.
6. Work withplex clinical service areas which will include benefits and workflow analysis, stakeholder engagement, reporting requirements, informationernance, potential impact, risks and issues, in order to identify suitable solutions to meet the Trust’s strategic and local planning objectives.
7. Use Clinical System knowledge and expertise to analyse and assist in system selection, including business change, benefits analysis, training, implementation and associated reporting.
About you
8. Understanding of clinical and operational processes within the public sector and other health settings
9. Knowledge of working withplex systems
10. Demonstrable evidence of being able to conveyplex information in a confident andpetent way
11. Expert knowledge in the use of and potential applications for clinical IT systems.
12. Demonstrable IT skills including intermediatepetence in Microsoft applications, including Visio and MS Project
13. Significant experience and knowledge of the operations of the NHS.
14. Understanding of clinical risk management in relation to IM&T implementations.
