Youll deliver training in a specialist environment focused on substation fitting, electrical systems and infrastructure, helping develop the next generation of engineers.Key responsibilities: Deliver hands-on training in mechanical and electrical fittingWork with switchgear, cabling, and substation equipmentTeach safe working practices in line with industry standardsSupport learners through NVQ / Diploma / technical qualificationsAssess competency and provide structured feedbackMaintain training equipment and workshop spacesEnsure strict adherence to health & safety regulationsWe are keen to hear from applicants with the following skills and experience: Background as a Mechanical Fitter, Electrical Fitter, Technician or similarExperience in heavy industry, utilities, manufacturing, or ex-forces engineeringMinimum 5 years hands-on experienceCity & Guilds Level 2 (or equivalent)Physically fit (role involves ladders, scaffolding and switchgear work)Full UK driving licenceDesirable (not essential training provided): Experience in HV/LV or power distributionPrevious training, coaching or mentoring experienceAssessing or teaching qualifications (A1, D32/33, PTLLS etc.)Health & Safety qualifications (IOSH / NEBOSH)Why Apply?
