Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Long-Term Position – Strood
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a supportive and welcoming primary school in Strood. This is a long-term position working across the school to support teaching and learning in a range of year groups.
About the Role:
1. Full-time, long-term position
2. Working across various year groups to provide targeted support
3. Assisting with planning and delivering lessons alongside class teachers
4. Leading small group interventions and covering lessons where required
5. Supporting pupils with additional needs to help them reach their full potential
The Ideal Candidate Will:
6. Hold HLTA status or equivalent qualification/experience
7. Have recent, relevant experience in a UK primary school setting
8. Be confident working across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
9. Be flexible, proactive, and able to adapt to the needs of different classes
10. Have a strong understanding of safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
