DLRC Ltd was established in 2005 and has developed a reputation as a leading regulatory and scientific consultancy with leadership and management experience. The company has expanded to affiliates based in Germany and the US. The growing team comprises over 90 qualified professionals with a pharmaceutical and/or regulatory background, and over 30 supporting staff in Business Development, Finance, Business Services and People Practices. We provide services to over 130 organisations to help them achieve strategic and operational development objectives. DLRC’s expertise and flexible working approach support a highly motivated team that interacts with clients and regulators globally for both single issues and long-term projects.
We are currently looking to hire a People Business Partner on a maternity cover basis to run from December 2025 to February 2027.
Responsibilities
* Embeddings a people-centric approach to deliver end-to-end customer service by collaborating with line managers to build and deliver enduring people solutions.
* Deliver the People Strategy and support people projects.
* Act as the first point of contact for advice and support for line managers with people processes, including updates to People Systems, letters and Employee Relations.
* Understand culture and engagement of business teams; implement and feedback initiatives from employee engagement surveys and listening tools.
* Keep up to date with legislation, maintain people policies and communicate changes to the business.
* Support and deliver people soft skills training to leaders in the business.
* Support line managers to develop leadership skills, including performance management processes (objective setting, PDRs and PIPs).
* Collaborate with IT to develop HRIS reporting and People KPI dashboards; provide insights to drive performance.
* Deliver the company induction for all new starters and work with line managers and Talent Manager to ensure a robust onboarding experience.
* Ensure People systems are compliant with GDPR and relevant UK/EU/US legislation.
* Champion wellbeing, inclusion activities and charitable causes.
* Complete exit interviews when required and act on feedback.
* Support payroll processes including administering benefits, absence, holiday and ad hoc payments.
* Organise or support team-building events and away days when required.
* Partner and network with DLRC Inc and Orphix teams when required.
Required Experience
* Currently/in a previous position as a People Business Partner or Senior People Advisor.
* Qualified to work in the UK.
* Fluent in English.
* Ability to collaborate across departments to achieve goals and support organisational initiatives.
* Ability to guide, inspire and support teams while driving alignment with strategic objectives.
* Articulate ideas and initiatives clearly to stakeholders to ensure understanding and alignment.
* Navigate discussions to reach mutually beneficial agreements balancing organisational and employee interests.
* Provide constructive feedback to help individuals develop skills and advance their careers.
* Analyse information to make informed, strategic decisions that drive business success.
* Manage and oversee projects from inception to completion, delivered on time and within scope.
