Hours: 45 hours per week
What will you be responsible for?
As a Public Liaison Officer, you'll work within the Project team, supporting them in developing and implementing stakeholder management plans, engaging with stakeholders, residents, and local organisations, keeping them updated on our scheme's program and delivery, hearing, understanding, and integrating community voices into the stakeholder management plan.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Stakeholder engagement on infrastructure and public realm projects, active involvement throughout the project lifecycle, presenting regular updates, planning events, addressing concerns related to traffic disruptions, accessibility, and environmental impacts, facilitating meetings with the client Communications team, and ensuring the project stays on track.
* Being onsite throughout the project to keep all information current and accurate, sharing the build programme, construction phases, and traffic management proposals with relevant stakeholders.
* Achieving project goals, monitoring and recording working hours, supporting weekly planning sessions, and meeting deadlines and milestones.
* Developing a team culture that embodies the values of TKJV.
* Supporting communication and relationships with other teams, customers, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and government agencies involved in the schemes.
What are we looking for?
This role is ideal if you:
* Have experience in the public domain, are passionate about inclusivity in public infrastructure projects, excellent in communication, advocate for equality, and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, especially on highway infrastructure projects.
* Possess a manual driving license or are able to obtain one.
* Are well-organized, proactive, and capable of working collaboratively to meet tight program deadlines.
