<div><h3>The Opportunity</h3><p>The People & Culture (P&C) team delivers purposeful transformation programmes and practices that support the attraction and enablement of leading talent. Our team has a blend of roles and expertise within our global Business Partnering team and our Centres of Excellence - Learning & OD, Reward & People Data, Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning, Inclusion, Diversity & Belonging and Performance Innovation.</p><p>This role is part of the UK/EMEA P&C business partnering team and contributes to the firms success by providing advice, coaching and support across a broad range of P&C matters spanning the employee lifecycle. Working in collaboration with P&C and function heads, this role will focus on enabling business leaders (across a dedicated client group) to effectively manage their people, create high levels of employee engagement and build an inclusive, high performing culture.</p><p>As the business navigates a period of change, the role also has accountability for the delivery of programmes and initiatives aligned to the P&C strategy and supporting large scale change programmes across the firm, working collaboratively across the P&C partnering team, the wider P&C function and key stakeholders.</p><p>Success will require the incumbent to build strong, collaborative relationships across the allocated client group and within the P&C function and bring an awareness of emerging people matters and opportunities – both internal and external.</p><p>This is a full-time, 18 Month FTC role based in our London office with hybrid working.</p><p>A full job description including a breakdown of responsibilities can be found attached to the role on our careers page https://www.ashurst.com/en/careers/.</p><h3>We are interested in hearing from HR generalists who have:</h3><ul><li>Experience in delivering high quality HR support dealing with senior stakeholders and forging strong relationships at every level.</li><li>CIPD qualification or equivalent.</li><li>A confident and resilient approach.</li><li>The ability to move from strategic reviews to hands on operational matters while retaining a high level of personal effectiveness and organisation.</li><li>Good level of knowledge of employment legislation.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to draft and review formal correspondence.</li><li>Experience of working in a fast paced and changing work environment.</li></ul><h3>What makes Ashurst a great place to work?</h3><p>We offer you all the things you should expect from an international law firm, some of which include:</p><ul><li>Competitive remuneration with the flexibility to reward high performance.</li><li>Flexible working.</li><li>Corporate health plans.</li><li>A global professional development offering for all employees.</li><li>An industry‑leading programme that celebrates diversity and inclusion.</li></ul><p>We are committed to delivering positive impacts to our communities through our Social Impact programme.</p><p>We aim to recruit, retain and promote the best people from the widest possible talent pools.
