The Royal Hotel is seeking an experienced and dedicated Chef de Partie to join our professional culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen standards, and supporting the overall smooth operation of the kitchen. Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with hotel standards and menu specifications
Assist with food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly adhered to at all times
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of your designated section in the kitchen
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management
Support junior kitchen staff as required, providing guidance and training where necessary
Contribute to menu development and presentation to enhance guest satisfaction
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Good understanding of meal preparation techniques across various cuisines
Previous restaurant or hotel experience is highly desirable
Ability to work as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and professionalism
Serving experience is advantageous, especially in high-volume settings
