Join Our Team as an SEN Teacher - Make a Lasting Impact
Location: Ely and surrounding areas
Working Days: Monday to Friday (Term-Time Only)
Hours: 9:00 am - 4:30 pm (flexible working)
Hourly Rate: £30-£35 per hour (PAYE - case dependent)
Role Focus: One-to-One Teaching for SEN, SEMH, SEMD, and medical needs
Are you a dedicated educator with a passion for supporting students with diverse needs? We are looking for experienced SEN Teachers who are ready to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners. This role offers the opportunity to provide personalised academic and emotional support to students facing a range of challenges, including Special Educational Needs (SEN), Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) issues, and medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Create Supportive Learning Environments: Establish safe, nurturing spaces where students feel empowered to learn and grow.
2. Deliver Personalised Education: Design and implement tailored learning plans that reflect each student's individual strengths and needs.
3. Engage Families: Work collaboratively with parents and carers to ensure consistent support and progress beyond the classroom.
4. Promote Positive Development: Deliver engaging lessons that build confidence, resilience, and academic success.
5. Lead by Example: Model positive behaviours and values that encourage lifelong learning and personal growth.
What We're Looking For
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (PGCE)
2. Minimum of two years' teaching experience
3. Strong subject knowledge in Maths, English, and Science (UK curriculum)
4. Experience teaching across Key Stages 1 to 4
5. Excellent English proficiency and experience supporting students with SEN
6. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service and legal right to work in the UK
7. Solid understanding of safeguarding procedures
