Hays is pleased to be working with a Great Yarmouth-based client who is seeking a skilled and proactive Insurance Renewals Advisor to support the Insurance & Risk team on a temporary basis. This role is crucial in helping to collate outstanding insurance claims forms, manage the renewals and claims inbox, and liaise with brokers to ensure smooth and compliant insurance operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collate and organise outstanding insurance documentation and claims forms.
* Monitor and respond to queries in the insurance renewals and claims inbox.
* Support the renewal process for various council insurance policies.
* Liaise effectively with insurance brokers and build strong working relationships.
* Ensure compliance with council-specific insurance requirements and contractual obligations.
Provide advice and support on commercial insurance matters including:
* Public Liability
* Employers' Liability
* Professional Indemnity
Essential Experience & Skills:
* Proven experience in commercial insurance, particularly within public sector or local government settings.
* Strong understanding of public liability and employers' liability insurance.
* Experience managing insurance renewals and claims processes.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, especially with brokers and external stakeholders.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a busy office environment.
Desirable:
* Familiarity with council-specific insurance requirements and contract compliance.
* Experience with insurance documentation systems or claims management platforms.
