Join our team as a HR & Office Administrator / Apprentice – a fantastic opportunity to start your career in a supportive and dynamic environment.
This varied role offers hands-on experience across HR and office administration, acting as a key point of contact for enquiries and visitors, and providing essential support to the HR team and wider business.
Our preferred route for this role is a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Business Administration, but we’re open to exploring other qualification pathways to suit the right candidate.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reception duties
* Manage the entry phone and visitor sign-in process, ensuring a warm and professional welcome.
* Answering and directing phone line.
* Assisting with coordinating visitor refreshments and lunches.
Office Administration
* Manage meeting room bookings and spaces.
* Oversee stationery, kitchen supplies, and workwear stock and distribution.
* Update internal notice boards and assist with internal communications.
* Liaise with our external IT support for day-to-day IT admin needs.
Event Coordination
* Support the planning and delivery of internal and social events including summer gatherings, Christmas parties, and company update meetings.
* Organise employee gifts for birthdays and holidays.
Travel & Project Support
* Arrange travel bookings (flights, hotels, taxis, itineraries).
* Provide admin support for internal business projects.
HR Administration
* Provide comprehensive admin support across the employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding.
* Maintain HR systems, manage time & attendance data, and support absence tracking.
* Coordinate training and wellbeing activities, and assist with employee benefits.
* Handle day-to-day HR documentation and act as a first point of contact for routine HR queries.
ABOUT YOU
Qualifications & Experience
* A Level education or equivalent (e.g. apprenticeship, T-Level).
* Previous experience in an office-based administration role would be advantageous.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
* Strong written and spoken communication skills and attention to detail.

The starting salary for an apprenticeship is £16,100, increasing upon each year of completion.

LTi Metaltech specialises in the precision fabrication and welding of high performance vessels and structures for use in demanding industrial applications, from cryogenic pressure vessels to high tech industrial furnaces, and nuclear waste containers.
