Our Opportunity Our opportunity is for an HR Specialist who can provide HR Support across the Marshall central functions and Aerospace Engineering Services. Responsibilities will include:  Acting as trusted advisor, coach and consultant to our people managers by building strong relationships and providing a commercial people perspective. Leading and providing creative solutions to complex ER challenges, keeping abreast of all legislative changes and best practice, implementing solutions in line with company values and policy. Supporting overflow of case management from fellow HR Specialists. Designing, developing and implementing policies in line with legislative changes/ organisational changes and training where required. Supporting employee well-being initiatives. Building and maintaining constructive working relationships with employee representatives and Unions and support consultation where required. Providing Employee Relations support for organisational change, new business, TUPE and restructuring activity. Identifying and co-ordinating Business Unit wide employee relations training for line managers upskilling managers to be more self-sufficient. Keeping abreast of key employment law developments, disseminating knowledge into the HR community as needed. Taking proactive steps to deliver support in the BUs/ functions to enhance employee relations (may include management skills development/ employee awareness training) Supporting annual and ad hoc projects/Initiatives across the BUs/ support functions. Being the first point of contact for the support functions and building a relationship with stakeholders. Collaborating across HR to deliver practical and effective solutions to the business and support functions where necessary. Please apply if you have most of the following: Behavioural Competencies: Effective coaching and influencing skills and demonstrable ability to build relationships and manage stakeholders. Confidence with using and interpreting data for reporting purposes and to identify trends to inform priorities. Ability to manage a diverse and complex case load and determine priorities/ assess risks. Ability to work at pace and adapt to changing circumstances. Technical Competencies: Experience across the full HR spectrum/life cycle. Sector experience is not important although experience of a manufacturing/ industrial/ logistics environment preferred. Union experience.  Change management experience. Good judgement and analytical skills to assess options and craft solutions, whilst identifying and evaluating risks. Able to make links between business strategy and HR interventions. Excellent people management skills. Excellent organisation skills with the ability to progress and prioritise a multi-faceted workload and manage systems and processes effectively. Education: Degree or equivalent. CIPD level 7 desirable, CIPD level 5 minimum or equivalent experience. Experience: Experience as a HR professional with sound employment law knowledge, performance management, employee engagement and wellbeing. Additional local needs This role will require a minimum of 3 days on site but will require flexibility over and above this according to case load. Additional flexibility to attend site on shifts will be required, this activity is minimal and can be planned ahead of time The benefits we will offer you include: 27 days holiday increasing with service up to 30 days (option to buy /sell) Pension contributions up to 9% Healthcare cash plan Extensive flexible benefit program Life assurance at 4x basic salary Enhanced parental leave and pay Paid volunteering leave Access to industry leading wellbeing resources and tools LI-Hybrid LI-ER1 IND01 Marshall Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer Marshall Group is an equal opportunity employer and values a diverse and inclusive workplace.
