Job Description
Academics have a Spanish teacher vacancy starting from January 2026 until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of a direct contract from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual that is looking to take the next step in their career. The role will be based at one of our diverse secondary schools in West Leeds. In their most recent Ofsted report they were given an overall grade of 'good' and have been given praised for setting clear expectations for the behaviour of students and enhancing their personal development. The school also assist those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), full training is provided to recognise the needs of those with SEND.
Your role as a Spanish teacher:
* Demonstrating excellent knowledge to students across KS3 and KS4
* Track students' progression, provide feedback and help them succeed!
* Engaging with other members of the curriculum by sharing ideas.
* Managing behaviour and controlling the classroom.
Requirements for the Spanish teacher role:
* Previous experience teaching Spanish across KS3 and KS4
* Time management and organisation skills
* A degree relevant to Spanish
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Right to work in the UK
