Morson Talent is looking for a Assembly Fitter to join a leading aerospace manufacturer.
This is a hands-on role within the Sheet Metal Components team, working with materials such as steel, aluminium, and titanium. You’ll be using engineering drawings, templates, and fixtures to produce and install precision parts using aerospace-standard fasteners and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Fabricate and assemble sheet metal components using technical drawings and templates
Work with aerospace materials including steel, aluminium, and titanium
Install aerospace-standard fasteners and parts to defined tolerances
Operate manual and powered tools safely and accurately
Perform drilling, cutting, and shaping with high attention to detail
Ensure all work meets quality and engineering standards
Follow health, safety, and environmental procedures in the workshop
Candidate Requirements:
Time-served apprenticeship in Sheet Metal Work or similar discipline
Excellent practical skills in using tools and equipment
Good understanding of technical drawings and specifications
Strong focus, accuracy, and awareness of safe working practices
Previous aerospace or precision engineering experience is highly desirable
