Robert Half has partnered with a professional services business based in Liverpool to recruit for a Credit Controller on a 12-month fixed term contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to join a busy finance team, supporting the management and collection of outstanding debt across multiple divisions. For the right candidate this role offers a salary of £28,000 - £35,000
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage a section of the ledger and support the wider credit control team
2. Chase and follow up outstanding customer debt
3. Build strong relationships with internal teams and external customers to resolve queries
4. Process credit and debit card payments
5. Provide accurate data for monthly debt review meetings
Requirements:
6. Previous experience in credit control or a similar finance role, ideally within a large organisation
7. Organised, punctual, and methodical in approach
8. Strong numerical and data entry skills
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
10. Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP experience is advantageous but full training will be provided
