About the role
The Role
Our team is the best in the industry – is it time for you to join us? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our GAP One re-hire team to ensure all business between customers and GAP Group is carried out efficiently and effectively.
The Role:
Based in our Glasgow Head Office, the Rehire Service Delivery & Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for improving the value and reducing the risk of GAP Group's supply chain. The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of supply and demand, market analysis, and effective procurement techniques to enable the business to make the right procurement decisions. In this fast-paced role, the Supply Chain Manager will also manage all aspects of supplier engagement, negotiate proposals, and monitor GAP's overall supplier spend versus rates charged.
About You
Applicants should demonstrate the following:
• Significant experience and success in a Supply Chain Manager role.
• Sound commercial acumen and effective negotiation skills.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive team performance.
• Excellent communication skills with customer service and influencing abilities.
• Proven analytical skills and proficiency in supplier agreements.
• Knowledge of the hire/construction industry is a plus.
